Answer: It is an undeniable fact that both money and happiness are defining factors in anybody’s life. Both are very important in our life. We earn money to get everything necessary in life. But money can’t buy happiness. No matter how difficult it is to earn money, to gain happiness is even more difficult. Even after having enough money, we can ‘t guarantee happiness. Money is one thing, and happiness is quite another. Though we can have enough money for our basic necessities, happiness doesn’t come along with that. It is possible that despite being rich, one is still not happy. On the contrary, a poor man can live in happiness as happiness lies in contentment. There is nothing wrong about wanting to earn more money, but one should not forget one’s family and social life. In the pursuit of wealth, one may lose one’s most important relationships with one;s friends and family. Furthermore, one’s mental and physical health can be affected badly because of dissatisfaction and lack of self- control. Besides, if a man gets embroiled in social crisis, money itself cannot relieve him of the pains.Therefore, money is not essential to happiness.
